How much will it cost to repair my reel?
Our minimum hourly labor rate is $50/hr., with a $20 deposit when your reel is dropped off. The cost of parts is added to this rate. If the cost of parts and labor exceeds the replacement value of your reel, we may advise you to consider an upgrade.
Can I have my reels spooled at the same time as they are repaired?
Yes! We are happy to spool your spinning, conventional, or offshore reel with your line of choice. We offer a variety of line options, including: popular brands of braided line, fluorocarbon, monofilament, lead core, hollow core, and wire line, depending on your reels’ application on the water. Hollow core splicing is $35 per splice.
How long will it take to repair my reel?
Reel repair times vary depending on our available manpower, parts availability, and time of year. It is always best to drop off your reels in the off-season if you are hoping to have them ready by the subsequent spring fishing season.
Will Riverview repair my reel under warranty?
We do not repair any reels under warranty. All reel warranty repair or replacement is handled directly through the reel’s manufacturer. Please visit the manufacturer’s website for warranty details.

Rod Repair Services
What rod repair services does Riverview offer?
At Riverview we offer tip and guide replacement/re-wrapping, reel seat and grip repair, and on a limited basis, full rod building services.
How much will it cost to repair my rod?
We charge $20 plus the cost of a replacement guide to rewrap/repair a single line guide. For two or more guides, or a reel seat/rod grip install, our labor rate is $50/hr. with a $20 deposit when your rod is dropped off. If the cost of parts and labor exceeds the replacement value of your rod, we may advise you to consider an upgrade.
